So This Is How It Ends

My class, Clarity, 12 Science One, with the room teacher, Mrs. Dewi. (For the not-so-important information, I am the one standing in purple kebaya with red rose in my hand).

Has anyone told you that life goes super fast like a lightning bolt (as if I already seen it)? It goes by so fast and leave us captivated by its lingering flashy light and might take us some time to adjust. By adjusting I mean adapting. And adapting is sure hella tough (or is it only for me?). New environment with new faces and new different types of people. I will sure gonna fit in, but yeah it takes some time.

High school was no different than middle school. I mean the difference would be the age and maybe we might get more ‘mature’. Oh, and the appereance might get a little (or more?) touch, because you know, it’s teenage life, duh. I got into this class where all the intellegent people gathered here. And you can imagine how I was just sitting there watching my friends studying and planning their future in one perfect scenario while I can’t even decide what I want for lunch. Though a bit lost in the educational program, I found out that high school was cool (I ain’t cool tho). Yeah, high school was fun, because my friends make it to be fun, uh yeah, it’s because of my friends made my high school memories are worth the memory (is this even the right sentence...but you get the point).  I love the thrill of getting into a problem, panic because of upcoming test, leaving the class earlier (because i can take it no longer, school sucks!), and many more. But the most important thing is about friendship (and preparing for university, actually).

You know the saying, “you don’t know the value of something ‘till it’s gone”? I realized it just before the school ends. It’s not that I didn’t value it but if I had realized it earlier I would appreciate it even more. I haven’t start college, so I can’t compare both. But I think it will be a whole new world, isn’t it? No more anything that you can do it in the class in high school (mention some, I don’t have anything in mind right now). And then, you will be treated as an adult. But that’s okay, I have no problem being treated as adult. What I am curious about is how can we go on with the lingering memories? (Of course we can *yeah*). I mean we just had great years (uh, not so great) of high school times, then boom, you have to graduate and go to university and make a living. Why can’t good times last? (Because life don’t stop for anybody, duh). What’s with goodbyes? It’s cliche, but I kept thinking (Me thinking deep at last, since forever, thank God).

I don’t want to be more melancholic than this, so why don’t we just skip it to the beat (yeah). No, I mean I’ll share some photos from the farewell and the yearbook. And no, my high school times aren’t like high school musical at all (I don’t even like that movie).
